Built in 1878, St. Clement Vineyards is located in St. Helena and has a long and vibrant history of producing boutique lots of high quality wines. Relationships with top independent Napa Valley winegrowers provide the foundation for St. Clement’s wines, which reflect the diversity of both the vineyards and the growers who steward them. St. Clement embraces the best of both traditional and progressive winemaking techniques, resulting in a collection of modern, accessible wines that strive for the ideal of quality without pretense.
Rich and intriguing, this classic Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon opens with stunning aromas of red plum, black currant, cocoa and coffee. The dense palate showcases layers of ripe dark cherry, rich plum and cedar that continue to linger. Though satisfyingly evolved in its youth, this Cabernet has an immensely long finish and supple tannins telling of its graceful aging potential.
The low-yielding Paras Vineyard sits high atop Mount Veeder in the southwestern region of Napa Valley. Its steeply terraced hillside results in significant elevation changes by vine row, and its blocks are picked multiple times as each one achieves perfect ripeness.
